“One day I looked in the mirror and said, "Enough is enough." Roughly 3 days later my friend Paige announced that she was starting new fitness program (If this wasn't a sign, I don't know what is). I commented on their post to sign me up, and 5 days later my lifestyle was turned around for the better.
Over the first 8 weeks, I've learned so much about exercise and food that I didn't know before. I've had to make adjustments in my diet, but I don't feel like I am depriving myself. Rather, I am eating now how I should have been eating all along! I've learned that the number on the scale doesn't mean everything in your weight loss journey and to not be discouraged during periods of fluctuation. I've learned that there is a way to lose weight that is not only healthy, but also sustainable.
